Jane will be appearing at two readings to celebrate the publication of her latest chapbook from Spruce Alley Press.
On Dec. 4 in Oak Park, California, at 1 pm, Jane will read from her new chapbook, "In Remembrance of the Life," which was published this past June.
Chella Courington, a writer of poetry, flash fiction, and novellas, will be joining Jane under the oldest registered historic oak tree in Ventura County. The Facebook events page includes the address of the reading. Please let us know if you'll be attending.
"In Remembrance of the Life" is a collection of 25 poems centering on the loss of family and friends to illness, old age and the inevitable passage of time. The chapbook has been reviewed by the Savvy Verse and Wit.
Another reading has been scheduled for Dec. 18 at 4 pm in New York City, at the Parkside Lounge on the Lower East Side. Sponsored by great weather for MEDIA, the reading includes an open mic and is part of the publisher's Spoken Word Sundays at the Parkside. Jane will be reading with poet Alifair Skebe. More details on the series are at the sponsor's site.
