Daphne and Her Discontents, Jane’s second full-length poetry collection, will be published in December by Ravenna Press, and Jane is embarking on a small reading tour to promote the book.

Jane’s next appearance will be at the Parkside Lounge, 317 Houston Street in Manhattan, on at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, 2018. She will be joined by poets Hawa Allan, Lisa Marie Basile, Zachary Bos, Sarah Blake, Kenyatta J.P. Garcia, and Peter Milne Grenier. The reading is sponsored by Great Weather for Media’s Spoken Word Sundays and would not be possible without the help of poet and impresario George Wallace.
In Southern California, Jane will be reading in Orange and Los Angeles counties at the end of February. The first scheduled reading will be 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at the Golden West College Student Services Annex, Room 154, Huntington Beach. Take the Gothard Street Entrance. The reading is sponsored by Tebot Bach, which publishes books, journals, conducts poetry workshops and holds a monthly reading as part of its mission to promote poetry.
At 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, Jane will appear with fellow Burning River poet and flash fiction writer Chella Courington at Gatsby’s Books, 5535 Spring Street, Long Beach 90808. More readers TBA.
The last two readings will be on Tuesday, Feb. 27. During the day, Jane will appear at the Spoken Word Club of Laguna Woods. Details on the time and exact location TBA. Thanks to Robbi Nester for helping to arrange this reading.
At night, Jane will be the featured reader with the Redondo Poets, who meet weekly at the Coffee Cartel at 1820 S Catalina Ave, Redondo Beach. The reading begins at 8 p.m.
